Microsoft Excel's MIN function/Formula is used to find the lowest or smallest value of the data table. It is as simple as it looks.
Syntax:
=MIN(number1, number2, number3, number4,….)
OR
=MIN(cell_range)
- start typing =MIN function following open bracket (
- enter the numeric values or you may select cell range of numeric data
- complete the ) bracket and press enter
Let's a simple example:
There is a list of data that contains numeric values and I have to find the lowest one. Here it is go like,
I wrote the formula as above and the answer is as below - here I found the lowest value which is 538.
